Mega Ampharos will never be good. It's bottom barrel RU right now, and I won't be surprised
if it drops to NU during either this generation or the next one.

I know it sucks that your favorite Pokemon are shit, but it's something we all have to deal with at some point.

Speaking of Mega Evolution, who else feels it's a bit "unearned " in the main series games?
Being able to Mega Evolve right off the bat, and after a series of text is lazy and contradictory to mega evolution lore. For something so sacred and powerful it really doesn't feel earned.

I think mega evolution can only be obtained after some complicated process of some kind is completed. For example a player can only Mega that particular Pokemon if:

>The Pokemon has High or Max Happiness.
>Max Affection in Amie or Refresh.
>Max Fullness in Amie or Refresh.
>Has been successful in at least 100 (or 50 if 100 is too much) battles.
