Blastoise is most boring of its gen

Feraligatr is in design, movepool, and ability miles ahead of Typhlosion and Meganium

Swampert is meh but so are other Gen III starters

Empoleon is unique typing/design, kinda boring movepool and role but could be worse

Greninja is best of its gen

Primarina has too much going on design-wise but fantastic to use ingame, could be worse

I've chosen Piplup and Popplio across my career, the rest were 4 fire types and 3 grass types.

Water truly is worst option except for gens 1, 2, 4, 6, and 7
