>>34601564It took 10 years for Groudon to finally beat Kyogre 1v1, and it took GF having to take pity on the poor shaving razor to give it an ability actively focused on screwing over its rival. Even then, in VGC 2016 (the only meta that matters), more Kyogres were used in the top players bracket than Groudons, and Wolfe Glick won with the orca on his team; no Groudons in sight.
It took 10 years, and the most overpowered buff GF could give it barring a "kill whale" button, but Groudon still couldn't measure up where it truly mattered.
