I'm going to play White 2 but I have no idea which Pokemon to use. I don't plan on using a starter and I want to use Gen 5 Pokemon only though, so there's that. Any ideas on who I should use based on those two things?

I'm literally doing the exact same thing as you right now but with black 2.

My team right now is Galvantula, Krokorok, Minccino, & Unfezant. I really suggest getting a Krokorok, it's just a really good Pokemon that is powerful and you can get it pretty early on. I also would get a Galvantula too but that's just my bias.

Ooh. I'm doing a playthrough of Alpha Sapphire. I'm thinking of using a Swampert, Breloom, Froslass, and maybe an Altaria. I have no idea what to use for the last two slots though. Maybe a Gallade and that adorable contest Pikachu? Or should I just stick with the Mightyena and Whismur I already have on my team?

Get a Elektross, it's better than Galvantula and has Levitate.

Get an Aggron, you can get one midgame which is really fine, it's at like level 30 as an Aron. Get one with Rock Head so you can abuse that 150 power Head Smash with no recoil.

Set your clock to Monday and get a free Hidden Ability Level 25 Braviary and it already has pretty good moves.

You can get a Growlithe really early game too, but I'd just get a Chandelure tbqh.

You can teach it Signal Beam from the Driftveil tutor, but you'll have to deal with that being your only source of damage until late game.

Ah nice, I'm doing a playthrough of Omega Ruby. Main teammates (staying) are Sceptile, Gardevoir, and Skarmory. Also using Mightyena, Zangoose, Masquerain, Trapinch, Anorith, Skitty, and Ninjask mixed on the side.

Ferrothorn is godly if you run Curse and Gyro Ball on it. Equip it with a Rocky Helmet for extra Iron Barbs damage and laugh at your opponents.

Also Eelektross, Darmanitan, Reuniclus, Seismitoad, Bisharp, Excadrill, Krookodile, and Hydreigon (if you have the patience) are all excellent Pokémon I enjoyed teaming up with in gen5.
