Female Triathletes and female Psychics were never included in ORAS despite appearing in RS.

Also the fact that male triathletes in ORAS depict a different looking guy in all of their VS Portraits when the originals had the same looking trainer in each sprite to emphasize that they are triathletes.

Mega Gardevoir used 20 of her 100 stat boosts on attack while Gallade used none of his boost on special attack.

Beautifly got a stat increase in gen VI but Dustox didn’t.

Random pokemon like Beartic got a stat boost in Gen VII, despite no Ice type specialist in Gen VII
Also no Ice type Specialist in Gen VII, Sina doesn't count and it should be Lillie

I feel like they wanted Slush Rush to be decent. Even more random than Beartic was Woobat getting a stat boost but not its evolution.

I mean that was done in a lot of Mega Pokemon to help balance them by not really giving them a 100BST boost. I just feel it was dumb that Gardevoir got this but Gallade didn't.

it's their attempt at balance by throwing points into their unused stats, mega absol is a +20 attack, +40 SpA and +40 speed on a physical attacker for example

The NPCs in gen 7 wiggling their arms at you as they talk bugs me immensely(it's especially noticeable with Lasses and fem Ace Trainers). Also,the general lack of variety in the animations for NPCs in the overworld,though I saw this complain various times.

We don't have that comfy houses which connects routes with cities anymore.
They put that in there so people won't notice loading times for entering a city.

In gen 5 you always saw some news in there too

yeah rse was amazing with that.
Still it was a good way to cover things, especially with BW where you could even read some news, in Gen 6 they made it with the news thing which was also cool.

But now we have plaza, we need a way to get the old thing back, so if you play the game you get a notification of upcoming events and other shit. It would be great, you adventure through the region, finally finished that route (which will just a little tunnel) then reading the news and thinking..oh look there is an on going tournament online let´s join them.

Sootopolis no longer being a natural formation from an underwater volcano and instead is a meteor impact. I'm not as mad at ORAS as some anons here are, but this retcon particularly irks me because it goes against both Sootopolis' name, inspiration, and the themes of land, water and the balance of nature that worked perfectly fine in RSE.

Except that Ledian was taken into account and intentionally kept weaker. Dustox was simply forgotten by the programmers at that stage, that group thought the Wurmple line had a single final form.

I feel like they did that because Signal Beam was kinda a signature move at the time of its release and that move was physical.

Illumise's learnset is literally a fucking joke though in RSE. Only useful moves it learns are Wish and Encore.

Didn't they also have news on the TVs in homes in BW, too? I forget which game had broadcasts that changed as you progressed through the plot and even mentioned you becoming Champion. I thought that was pretty cool and made the world feel alive, versus the constant Masala show in SM.
