Closest image I have to mostly indifferent. Just because the series is moving onto better hardware doesn't mean the games will be better, it just means they'll be prettier. I'm not expecting anything more than a SM-tier main game with an incredibly shallow region and an excessive focus on plot even though GF can't write to save their lives. I'd love for them to prove me wrong and do much more in the game, but this GF we're talking about.

Next Gen, considering Ishihara called it a "Core RPG Pokemon game", it's being made by Game Freak and not a side studio, so that infers it's NOT a Collo/Gale effort and for what it's worth, Game freak have always released a new region and games, for their first outing on a new system.

It was announced at E3 that a new main series was in the making for the switch. USUM is the last main game for the 3DS

I don't mind the series being on the Switch but I really don't want them to drop support for the 3DS before they port Gen 3-5 to VC or at least update Gen 4 to have pokebank support
