>>34624301The first half of Super is decent, plot wise. Well, it's not decent but it's at least tolerable. They keep it simple with your character going to school, doing little adventures, etc. It's near the halfway point where the plot just completely unravels and becomes obnoxious.
Also my least favorite PMD partner with the stupidest story and stupidest "twist" ever. I won't spoil it but it's retarded.
Super removed a bunch of features for no reason. You only get one of each Pokemon, and you can't nickname them. Sure, recruiting Pokemon in previous games was hard as shit, but this new web system (where you can't even use the recruit Pokemon when they're out on holiday every two days) is shit.
But it's mostly the plot. The plot is garbage. None of the characters are likable. I can't remember a single one, actually, except Nuzleaf. The problem is that they keep making the classic anime trope mistake of:
>Oh no, we're going to die>Oh, someone saved us>oh no, the people who saved us are in trouble>oh, they were saved>oh noOver and over again. The plot never sits down. It never gives you a chance to take a break and actually play the game on your own.
The last boss is so cringey. Leave it to PMD to finally have a boss that isn't a Pokemon and then make it retarded.
God, Super was so bad. Another shit game after the last.
