Has anyone ever tried to get a shiny Shadow Lugia?

I've never really seen a shiny Pokemon in XD, so I don't know if it has a shiny entrance like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IvOg3-vEGWM (he says in the description he edited Lugia's PID, so this is not legitimate) or not.

All Shadow Pokemon in Pokemon XD are Shiny Locked. Genius Sonority is ironically not smart enough to fix the glitch that was in Colosseum so they decided to lock all of the shadow Pokemon. Regular Pokespot mons can be shiny

All shiny Pokémon are locked in XD. You may be able to mod the game to get one, though.

Wrong. They fixed it by creating Shadow Pokemon with your ID instead of the AI's, but then locked it anyway by rerolling every time it would've been shiny.

As a ribbon hoarder, I never bothered since legendary Pokemon cannot get all of the ribbons. From what I recall in Colosseum there was no shiny lock but they changed that in XD to where the only shinies you can catch are the wild pokemon and your Eevee.
tl;dr Shinies are pointless just inject it :^)

Probably not in the typical sense. I'd presume they used a failsafe model for it, just in case. The regular Shadow Lugia model would probably have been reused if that was the case.

You could also manipulate your SID so the Pokemon you obtain from Duking will also appear shiny since it inherits his TID.
