Salandit is good for a pre evo, too:

>both need fanfic metas to thrive, but at least they thrive somewhere
Vespiquen:
>total garbage from day one
>slow and bulky with shit defensive type
>three signature moves, which is very nice
>only one has any merit (roost is better, don't bother with heal order)
>introduced in the same gen as stealth rock and yanmega, a bug/flying type that's actually pretty decent
>pain in the ass to acquire in its first appearance
Combee is fucked
>no moves but gust, sweet scent (lol), hidden power, and bug bite
>unusable everywhere, even in game
>female design looks better anyway
being a vespiquen fan is suffering, it should've been a different type like bug/psychic, dark, or even steel if we're allowed to dream. The first two wouldn't have been great, but they'd at least let it stand out and maybe bee slightly better.
