Ok, serious question.

Every time I go to a second-hand shop or GAME, HG/SS is £45-60. Why? Is it because of the Pokewalker?

HGSS was shortprinted, probably because of the Pokewalker. A mere year after the game came out, major chains started running out, which is really rare for a Pokemon game.
