Should there be a Switch limit? A limit on the amount of times you can switch in a battle? Without it, battles can go on forever if both players just keep switching.

Maybe end the game prematurely in a draw if a certain number of turns go by without any pokemon losing PP, but that's it.

A switch limit has been implemented already though. It’s called Stealth Rock. For the most part anyway.

Seems unnecessary to me. There’s already a time limit in player-vs.-player battles, and it’s not really much of a concern for in-game battles.
