I wonder what happened to the guy. Hasn't been on in a while. I figured he would stop eventually but I didn't think it would be that soon. Was hoping he would make it through the first 40ish eps of AG at least.

Were any of you in the online fandom when AG was originally airing from 2002-2006 like I was? There used to be tons of May posts and May fanclubs on forums like serebii/bulbagarden. The Contests also immediately became popular and had a female following too because of Drew/Harley. I wonder what happened to all those people, they're all 30+ year old adults now.

Only problem is back then we had to deal with some rabid Misty fans/Pokeshippers who had nothing better to do but bash May for no reason, but most of the time the mods banned them after a while.

She's still pretty stacked in her swimsuits, it's only that aside from one scene the animators were generally not allowed to draw cleavage. So it makes her seem smaller where she would be showing otherwise.

Advance wasn't doing too shabby from 2008-2012. Then it pretty much died by the time XY came out.

Is that how it works?
If they were 16 when Harley came out, 2003, they would be 31 now.
Anyway, in 2003 when Harley came out, I was 6. I didn't become a Harley fan until I was 11.

Honestly, I assume they all had families and moved on.

When AG was originally airing most fans online at the time ranged from 14-17 year olds, at least on bulbagarden and serebii. I was 17 when AG started but I know I was one of the oldest ones.

The Contest arcs felt like they were aimed at teenagers. May herself looked like a teen girl, and then Drew flirting with her plus Harley felt like we were watching this shoujo story arc. I always felt like May's character and arc was aimed at the kids who grew up with the original series were now teenagers.

As said, most of us are 30 now. Some are still online on various places like tumblr or social media, but others I guess got too busy in real life because they started families and outgrew pokemon
