This is a weird one for me because I have played HGSS but not GSC. But this song in particular is so melancholic and relaxing, it reminds me of a song to ending credits. I also used to watch my childhood friend play Crystal a lot and he would do all sorts of fun things on there and he would often hang out either at the League or Ecruteak City.

when I first played Gold I was so sad to see that my favourite Kanto city was gone, but it never really struck me what happened to it until HG.
