I can't remember Safeguard being relevant after Gen III. I can't remember Confide, Torment, Hail, Round, Echoed Voice, Embargo, Fling, or Payback being relevant ever.

There's a different between "early game move" and "situational bullshit you'd never use in game or competitively." Just cut the fat and start making stuff like Water Pulse and Icy Wind tms again.

You clearly don't understand. Good moves aren't TMs because giving more Pokemon access to them creates a balance. If DDance was a TM and every Dragon like Pokemon had it it would break the meta. Shit like Quash balance out things like EQ being widely available.

What the fuck are you talking about retard? You can just adjust the individual Pokémon’s compatibility a la Golduck couldn’t get Psychic from TM29 in Gen II but could learn it from an egg. Infestation is a reliable trapping move, and is usable on defensive mons. Shuckle and Toxapex run it in OU, and the latter is the best thing in the tier next to the lion.
