>>34639982It's more that people on forums watched the anime consistently, or most of every saga. Whereas a lot of these new youtube/social media people are people who just got back into pokemon due to the XY hype, having previously not watched it since their childhood, so they don't really know about all the things all the other anime sagas did or with their characters, etc.
It's especially jarring when you see some people post, "Serena got the most amount of screentime for a female companion" or "Serena did the most amount of battling" which is just jarring and factually wrong.
