>>34640517>It's still far outclassed by eviolite Type: Null.I agree, but with so little pokemon, silvally basically becomes glue: the pokemon. Being able to be any type gives it a lot of options to replace the things that don't exist in this meta, like a good steel type that isn't magearna. With 95 speed it is the 4th fastest non-ubers mon, with the bulk to take hits, parting shot for support and decent coverage. I assume ground, steel and fairy memory silvally would see a lot of usage, considering the competence.
>Too many ways to wall it/wear it downProbably, but it is decently fast and strong jaws lets it pierce through most of the support mons, also being able to take on toxapex after a swords dance. Maybe I'm giving it more credit than it deserves but in toxapex: the meta it seems deserved to me.
>It's just too weak and slow to deal with all the threats in the meta. Can't do shit to toxapex, kommo-o, or araquanid, or really anything.I was thinking of intimidate+fake out+u-turn utility but maybe you're right, toxapex alone might invalidate the whole set.
>decidueye is just straight up better in every way and way more unpredictable. only thing it can do is run a band set and hope for the bestBetter attack stat and triple STAB with slightly better bulk and rapid spin makes it on pair with decidueye if not better in my mind. On the other hand, decidueye is the fastest grass type on the meta and can trap stuff so I wouldn't know for sure which one would be more used.
>with virtually no fairies in the meta i'm struggling to understand why you think it's so usefulEven without fairies, fire STAB while being the 3rd fastest non-ubers mon and having access to nasty plot make me think it would be a dangerous late game cleaner. Being able to poison toxapex might be more valuable than it might look at first glance.
>the rest I agree on (assuming lycanroc is dusk)Dusk does invalidate midday in every way since sand stream doesn't exist, but midnight might still work.
