>>34646983Golgon has a simplistic design (though not too simplistic) featuring a mellow palette with five base colors. The pose highlights its anatomy well, though the artist made a few odd choices. For example, the left rear leg is not attached to the body in the same way as the right. The highlight to Golgon's design is the ruby "eye", or rather, the ruby lens in front of its real eye.
>>34647025Ground Quail has a silly design. The anatomy is simplistic and the pose accomplishes what it needs to do. The color palette used makes it very similar to Farfetch'd, possibly by intention. Though not necessary, more detail in the body feathers would be appreciated. The highlight to this quail's design is its expression, which conveys a sense akin to attention and lack of attention at the same time.
>>34647194The Fawnlora line is interesting. The base form uses five base colors, though it increases to six in the intermediary, seven in the final, and six in the mega. Kyle Dove's attention to anatomy is decent. However, the designs could more attention to the shape of the head, especially in the base and intermediary forms. Despite this, the line does an exceptional job of illustrating how the Fawnflora line matures. Aside from the base form's intended inspiration, it's very clear that these are all members of the same line. The mega form in particular does an amazing job in using Japanese Tori design by building off of the final form's horns.
