Better than just about every other theoretical type they could've added. Needs to be rebalanced though.

>Grass-types now resist Fairy-type attacks
>Fairy-types are now weak to Psychic-type attacks (iffy on this one)

I couldn't think of a better new type, but I still haven't bothered to memorize their advantages/weaknesses. Just found out last week that fire resists it

I still don't understand why did they have to add it to so many mons from previous generations. I specially hate that they added it to Gardevoir just because it's considered as a waifumon, it would be the same criteria as making every masculine looking mon fighting types.

Pretty much this. Since it's a completely made up fictional type, they could have done just about anything with weaknesses/resistances, and all they did was do a mild buff to poison, with the real buff to steel. Nerfed dark some more, disgustingly nerfed bug even more. They aren't even trying to balance, which is consistent with 25 years of doing it

I like them and still do. The idea of throwing a Swirlix in front of an Outraging Salamence and it being totally unaffected is still amusing to me all this time later.
