Can't decide on a starter

I can't decide which starter I want to choose in pokemon ultra moon.
At first I was going to choose litten because I like cats but now I'm kinda thinking about choosing rowlet or poplio because I already chose litten in the last game.
Also I wanna fug the owl and mermaid.

You already got Litten, so Popplio. Unfortunately USUM opponents aren't very kind to Rowlet and it would be one of your worst party members until it turns into Decidueye, where instead a generic Water mon like Popplio can live and do some more damage.

Just pick the type you want to start with and replace it with a better mon of that type.

I picked Rowlet in the original SM and Decidueye is trash, both competitively and in casual playthroughs, so I picked Litten in USUM.

Don't pick Rowlet, it's shit. If you don't want to pick the same starter just pick Popplio.

Not really possible for a pokemon to be trash in casual playthroughs. 100 lvl Decidueye can one shot pretty much anything in the game, same with any other pokemon.

The idea that you think competitive matters at all is fucking hilarious. Popplio is for fags.
