Pokemon is a globally kids property yet doujin artists publish porn doujins at Comiket and then sell it online. Unlike individual lewd fanart that people just post on their pixiv pages or twitters, doujins are sold, traded and bought in Japanese conventions and are available to order online on their doujin shops.
It seems that there has been an even more increase in pokemon girl doujins in the last few years than ever before, I sometimes wondered if the lack of doujins from the early 2000's was because Pokemon was a huge fad at the time and cracked down on porn doujins harder do it's kid-family appeal.
This along with the fact that most doujins are loli with underage girls, why does Nintendo allow it? I'm sure if they bothered they could prevent the sale of doujins at comiket at least.
