Honestly, I don't see what the difference between a new tier and letting things trickle down to UU would be. UU council should just give up keeping it alive and let new tiers be added onto the bottom.

Like, seriously, allow all of this shit in UU and then push all of the current B- to D-rank mons from UU to RU. And rinse and repeat with the other lists.

When a banlist is 25 or more Pokemon, that's fucked up.

Here's a thought exercise OP.
Count how many of those are primarily offensive.
Now count how many are primarily defensive.
Now imagine what UU would look like if they were all allowed.

This shit's only going to become worse as the number of mons increase each gen, players are gonna get more and more frustrated when their favorites are stuck in an unplayable purgatory.

stakataka is not used defensively though. Out of all of these the only ones it could semi-reliably deal with is jirachi, non-low kick weavile, and mega latias. You outed yourself as uninformed by thinking stakataka could deal with wallbreakers that tend to carry fighting/ground coverage.

Okay, I'm confused, I though wallbreakers had generally bad coverage and revenge killers lacked power? Why can't some of them be allowed in the tier? Wouldn't the revenge killers deal with the sweepers, isn't that their purpose?

It wasn't a big deal last gen, but Mega evolution fucking up the tiering system became extremely obvious this gen. They really, really shouldn't count toward the number of Pokemon in the tier, because each player is only allowed to have one of those 14 Pokemon per team. That automatically cuts the number of OU Pokemon for the other five slots down to 30-something instead of 50 like gen 5. If you were to make the megas stop plugging up spots in OU, over half of the BL mons would end up back in OU where they should be.

wallbreakers generally lack speed, dedicated revenge killers are usually faster (choice scarf) or have priority and may or may not lack power depending on the context. Sometimes something just happens to revenge kill something and isn't dedicated like weavile vs. boosted salamence. I'm sure they could drop a few BL mons down but usually the way these things end up is the person with the sweeper has the advantage and everyone just uses cookie cutter veil hyper offense shit because veil stops many revenge killers from working

ninetales was OU up until very recently and dropped due to usage but replace veil with dual screens klefki etc. Also forcing the opponent to use their revenge killer for several things can get it worn down, especially if it has to try and revenge kill something that has priority. Also many times you have to act immediately to certain threats or else they get +2 speed and your revenge killer can't revenge anymore, so there's potential for error there too.

Which I actually hope it does, this game lacks bulky offense and non-stall pivot walls for balance teams.

That list is over half as big as UU itself. 33% of the pokemon that should be UU, are banned from UU. That's too much. Let the powercreep be, don't ban everything so every pokemon is only as good as you want it to be.
