Has anybody noticed that Ash follows a pattern of starters he gets(starting from gen 2)
Johto -> 3
Hoenn -> 1
Sinnoh -> 2
Unova -> 3
Kalos -> 1
Alola -> 2
And it doesnt help that he has the same types as he did in gens 4 & 7
(BTW be prepared for him to get all 3 in gen 8)
