>>34670132>"all pokemon can be good if trained properly" my assThis is the worst part about Pokemon overall.
The franchise champions using the Pokemon you love, and put out this fantasy ideal that any team, properly trained and prepared, can win so long as the trainer tries.
Come actually playing with other people, that goes out the fucking window. There's this shallow pool of maybe 15 or less Pokemon that actually matter, and if you don't use them, you're fucked.
Unless they realize this problem and start fixing the balance in the next generation, there's no fucking point to making any new games because the same problems will ALWAYS be there. Why bother with better graphics, new monsters and more immersive gameplay if the end result - having to choose a tiny pool of Pokemon that matter while the other 800 get swept aside - is the same? We might as well not get a Switch game at all and let the franchise die with USUM.
