Downloaded No$gba emulator and Platinum for fun (and bc i lost the cartridge) but i cant save the game can you guys help me out?

Ive seen other ppl w the same problem ive tried some of their solutions but it didnt work. Thought maybe with someone guiding me i could fix it and learn a thing or two..

get Desmume instead. there you can save normally. I've played Platinum and everything else fine. look for best settings too because emulation might be a bit slow if not adjusted correctly.
