No, it's mee-mee-kyuu. Mimikyu is a slight alteration of the Japanese name, and Japanese ia phonetic language.

I = ee sound
Mi = Mee
U = oo sound

So it's Mee-mee-kyoo.

The mimi in Mimikyu is not pronounced like how we pronounce 'mimic." It's mee-mee.

TPCi doesn't have its own in-house dub. It contracts DuArt to do it instead. But they have a stricter control over what goes in the dub as per their contract.

But TPCi consistently changed names. We had Man-tain in the Manaphy movie to Man-tine in the BW series onward. We had Me-en-fu in Mienfoo's debut in the dub, but Mean-foo from its next appearance onward.

We also have stupid shit like Lysandre being ly-san-der, Roserade (rose-rade) not being consistent with Roselia (ro-se-lia), and other stupid pronunciation quirks.
