Been working on a few "early gen" style fakemons. Pic is an Ice type - and without bringing back old arguments - I want this final evo to be Ice/Fighting so I'm trying to redesign it a bit.

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for typing in the fighting theme? I want to keep it a quadruped which is why I've been stuck for ideas.

Well it is white so you could give it black belt-like markings to simulate a karategi.

Other than that I really see no way how you could make it fighting type without making it bipedal or giving it martial details.

You could make it semi bipedal, like Typhlosion, Swampert, and real bears. It runs and walks quadrupedal, but it stands on its hind legs to perform judo bear hugs.

Maybe try making the back fur look like a cloak, and give it stereotypical viking horns?(The English word-berserk comes from berserkers, a class of Norse warriors who would wear bear skins into battle and were known for flying into an unstoppable rage)
