They probably wouldn't address it, and would keep references to SM/USUM as open-ended as possible so it's conceivable she could've come from either universe. She'd mention a close friend that inspired her to become a trainer, maybe a throwaway reference to having once been Kukui's assistant (but doesn't mention where or when she started as a trainer), and having carried around Nebby who became 'the legendary Pokemon' - but again, with no specific statement as to whether it turned into Solgaleo or Lunala.
