can we talk about how weird pokemon classifications are?
they're in the pokedex so they're canon but they use words that shouldn't exist in the pokemon universe
I imagine the followeing
"oh I'm a trainer and I just caught a pikachu, let me look it up on the pokedex. I see, it's the mouse pokemon..... what on earth is a mouse??"
it feeeels like a 4th wall breakmaking the dex no longer an ingame item, but a message that goes directly to the player instead of the character
