I had a dream that Gen 8 was pretty much Pokemon Colosseum. You start out with your starter Pokemon and your means of ''flying'' is not a Pokeride but a scooter. HMs are completely removed and you have to perform certain tasks to unlock areas in order to get there. (Ask a Conkeldurr to build a bridge or save a Wailmer to swim across the sea). The battle system was exactly like Digimon World/Pokken in a way, much more simplefied and the Z-Moves work with motion control. Mega Evolutions became Z-Crystals as well but you can still use both Z-Moves and Mega Evolutions at the same time. There wasn't really an antagonist but they enslaved Pokemon by making them Shadow Pokemon by accident because they wanted to see how Pokemon can work under innovative circumstances. The versions mascots were a lion dragon and a chicken and the region looked like a mix of Orre/Sinnoh.
