They'll just drop the "Alolan" part. If we get DP remakes next gen they'll probably be reintroducing the concept behind Shellos. Fire Vulpix in the southern half of new region, Ice Vulpix to the North.

Or they won't be available at all and only exist by transfer.

The breeder will attempt to replicate Alolan environment. Any egg you got from there has a good (100%) chance of becoming the Alolan form if they're available.

Safari Zone. Pikachu, Exeggcute, and Cubone evolve into their Alolan forms if they're holding a Strange Souvenir.

Transfer them from gen 7 and make them hold an Everstone to breed more, the same way you breed non-Alolan form in gen 7.
