Personally, I'm starting to get tired of the early 00s art style, and hope they make a new, more modern art style

I personally think the current art is ideal because the colors are accurate and it's easy to follow the designs.

That's just color swapped. You do realize the 90's artstyle was diffferent was due to more rounded designs with more detail? Yes they had darker colors but that alone isn't the sole difference
