Large-scale exorcisms and gullible, lovestruck young women with daddy's credit card are rare, so most of them have to pick up some side work in the sea of fortune-telling, charm sales, and minor exorcisms that make up the interim. A salesgirl or a ranchhand is certainly the type of low-skill, temporary work a Hex Maniac might gravitate to when times are tough.
It's also possible, however, that she's included something "special" in the milk, though whether this is to protect people from something, hit them with a teensy curse, or else just to be a creepy little monkey is anyone's guess. It's probably at least safish though, since she'd probably get fired if people kept getting sick after drinking product she was selling. You might pick up a low-level curse, at worst, but you could also end up with a low-level benediction, a cup of cooties, or just a plain glass of sentient cow-beast milk.
