they are ok. I wish the page rider didn't exist (they should just have let you use your own mons without HM's) and I wish it was not so linear. The world feels too theme-parky as well, with areas feeling claustrophobic. But all in all, the regional variants, new mons, and most animations are nice.

I've never had a game I wanted to like more than Sun and Moon. But I just can't get past its glacial pace. I like the difficulty, I like the exp share, I like the new Pokemon to bits, I like the aesthetic design and I like the region, but damn is it fucking slow
