Looks like their horrendous writer James Carter Cathcart from their Anime dub got into his alliteration stash. Still better than what TPCi do there, where they get rid of all the kanji and replace the Z-moves with nothing instead.

TPCi is a shit company, basically, is the answer.

They already sound cool to Japs because they're in Engrish, but Sunshine Smasher and Moonlight Blaster doesn't sound cool to people who speak English, you need to make the names longer to have the same effect.

No, it wasn't the poor voice direction. It wasn't changing the soundtrack to save money. it was having fun doing your job that ultimately killed the dub. Damn you TPCi, damn you.

It was poor vocal direction, the soundtrack changes, the script rewrites, and the return of editing that killed the dub, and TPCi ended up repeating all of 4Kids' mistakes, but did worse in VA, music, and OPs by now.
