I ate at the pokemon cafe in singapore and it was absolutely fucking awful. Cold food, long waiting times, didnt even taste good either. Only saving grace was the merchandise aisle which had the rare little tales series. Really spoiled my impression of themed food.

Miss the comfy 90/00s Pokemon boom, when even Nidorino and Graveler had action models. I had a Squirtle school diary (still have it), the Pokedex toy, Pokemon stickers album, GBC with Gold and Crystal because never liked RGBY cartridge and some other gadgets, the snacks had fridge magnets. In general lot of articles of Pokemon. That feel of te stickers package, the sound and even the smell, new toys in general...right in my nostalgia. The GBC was an insane battery consumer tho, glad I had my N64 with Stadium, Stadium 2 and the GB adapter and the underrated Pokemon Puzzle League I enjoyed more than any other mobile puzzle game boom we had.

That curry looks awful. I initially thought it was soup because it looks so thin.

Anyway, I used to take these as a kid, but only the Pikachu ones as the rest tasted like poison.

At one point there was Pokemon branded jellies/jams/preserves, i don't remember how good the jam actually was, but there are least 3 glass jars in my parents cabinet that they still use as drinking glasses.

The local Japanese mart close to me has some Pokemon gum, gummies (shaped as Pikachu), and chocolates that they get from Japan. Some of the chocolates have stickers inside them too. So far I've gotten a Pikachu and Metapod sticker.
