This would make Wigglytuff into a decent bulky attacker as opposed to garbage.

Shedinja: The only change shedinja needs is to its wonder guard ability: Wonder Guard gives immunity to all weather and status effects.

Don't pust it

The only thing quick feet really needs is ignoring burn's Atk drop, so that you can use a flame orb on ursaring instead of the shittier toxic orb.

Or even better, make a new item, a paralysis orb.

regardless, the point stands: early game rodents/birds/bugs are all supposed to be ass because you get them early on and they evolve pretty quick. pidgeot evolving into a 580 BP monster with adaptilibility would break the fucking game too quick

not to mention it also has well over the bst of every single starter

is a very unfortunate mindset to have. It's not very difficult to circumvent this problem by disabling synergy of movepool and ability until later on in the game. Kalos almost did it very well with both Talonflame and Diggersby by giving them amazing abilities but limiting their use until later game with few flying moves or low BP moves respectively, it's just a shame that they kept those abilities hidden. Why not introduce one that has Sheer Force as an ability but don't give it any moves with secondary effects until, say, level 30 where it starts getting them and picks its viability back up?

Aftermath: Now deals damage equal to the total HP lost when it was KOed regardless of if the move made contact or not. This damage goes through protect/detect.
Replace Unburden with Ghostly Presence: Damage dealt by Driblim is instead split evenly across all of the foes remaining pokemon.

It's mostly because GF is pretty stupid, but they can make a shitty mon with bad stats at the start of the game and make its evolution level to something like 40, which will give it a real boost and it would be like mid or late game.

The point is: it's the usual to make early mons shitty, but they don't need to do it every time.

Toucannon is at least really good in game, I'd go so far as to call it the best in game bird if you get one with skill link. Swellow has some uses in lower tiers with scrappy boomburst, talonflame was great once, pidgeot got a mega, and staraptor is good in game and ok online. The three JUST birds are unfezant, noctowl, and fearow if you count it.

Take the approach of the other two posters and give them broken as shit abilities or moves.

I suggest something like:
The King of Slow: Gain/Lose defensive and special defensive stats equal to the difference between their speed and your speed (EX: if your opponents speed is 100 and yours is 30, gains 70 base stats in both defense/special defense. Healing moves gain priority.

For electrivire give it: Eletrical Outburst. Whenever this pokemon faints the next pokemon sent out gains an electrical outburst status, which causes any move (including non attacking moves) to cast a base power 40 electric type move in addition which guarantees paralysis.

Its stats are just garbage still, try something like

HP: 110
Attack: 120
Defense: 70
Special Attack: 40
Special Defense 70
Speed: 115

Give it the utility required to be a good lead, a new ability and some exclusive moves.

Ability: Classic Wrap. Whenever Arbok deals physical damage, wrap the enemy, dealing minor damage and preventing switching for five turns.

Give arbok an exclusive move: Taunting Toxic; Gives the enemy toxic poison and makes it so they can't use non attacking moves. Makes physical contact.

Give it direct upgrades to levitate for one: Floating Bell: Immune to ground type moves and when it is sent out, immediately uses perish song.
Floating Song: Immune to ground type moves, whenever it takes damage, heal equal to leftovers.

Two, change it stat. Give it a high Hp stat, 120 should be fine and 100 base defense/special defense.

Three, give it an exclusive move. Song of the Silent: Gains protection until the end of the turn and disable any move the attack attempts to use this turn.
