I'd personally prefer to see the type combo not be attached to a starter for once, because it is a fairly good dual type. Neutralizes Fairy and Rock, and usually have decent wide movepools to compliment. Throw on an ability that isn't Blaze, and you have a really good potential non-starter Firefighter.
That said, considering how disappointing the last two Fire starters have been (Delphox and Incineroar), we might as well go back to Fire/Fighting. Fire starters for me are always a hit or a miss, rarely, if never, in-between.
Infernape was definitely the best of the three based on my personal usage, though Emboar comes in second just for being completely different than the two before it, in terms of it being a bulky, yet slow Firefighter with so many recoil moves to take advantage of for once.
Blaziken is easily my least favorite; overrated and nowhere near as good as the other two Hoenn starters.
