i didn't really give a shit about it, but I'd been working 60-70 hour weeks by then, I had very little time for anything but eating, shitposting on the internet for an hour or two before dropping into bed to try get some sleep for the next day, rinse repeat.

I'd love it if the games used the DexNav system instead of random encounters. In ORAS I always avoided grass and waited for a Pokemon to pop up instead when I wanted to catch one.

Because the devs don't build the later games as if they were sequels. They build them as their own individual games.

Radar had an actual purpose in finding shinies. Breeding shinies now is so laughably easy there's no point using the dexnav to do it.

my headcannon is that they couldnt think of enough edgy dex entries for the rest of the other pokemon so they just decided to leave them out instead of scrapping the whole thing in its entirety and going back to generic entries for another gen
