So /vp/ I'm curious. I've taken a break from Pokemon in 2015 and I gotten back into it last year so I missed all of the SM hype. What I want to know is in the SM trailers, did they show all of the new Gen 7 mons or were there any that was never shown in a trailer and was discovered in the actual games?

Some of them were not shown in any trailers like Crabominable and some UBs.

They showed off WAAAAAY too much stuff for Sun and Moon. There were about 19 little trailers that had new info. 19! Very few Pokemon were left unrevealed before release. Plus people just datamined the demo to find info anyway, so after that it was all over.

Some gen7 mons were shown in trailers. Others you could find for yourself but a lot was showcased before the game was released. The games were good but lacked replayability. They got a third version later and it was really good, but still lacked certain replayability factors. Overall it was good imho. Solid gen but it could’ve been way better. Best 3DS Pokemon games by a country mile, too. If you want to experience SM in full form though, just buy Ultra Sun.
