Yes I Know that I'm literally the only person in the whole world who's sad for this but I actually like HM because they give inmersion into the game and makes you interact far more with your adventure, being completly honest about 50% of the reasons why I hate gen 7 and the current path that the franchise is taking is due HM removal.

Any kind of minigame would be good, but pinball isn't a bad idea. Additionally, they could make the game corners function like redemption arcades, where you get tickets instead of more coins, to make them more kid-friendly.

HMs are a neat concept because, in theory, they force the player to capture a diverse range of Pokemon in order to explore.
Bring back HMs, but give each Pokemon a 5th (or even 6th) "out of battle moveslot" reserved exclusively for HMs.

Dickbag can actually fuck you up pretty well if you're unprepared, thanks to his "ok" team and dickish fight locations.
I mean, the second fight is right in the middle of a town, with a pokemon that can easily status most of your team if you don't know what you're doing, and his third fight is obnoxious if you haven't picked up a fire or ground mon.

HMs to be back in another different way, like "you get this Medal, now all your Water Pokemon can Surf, regardless they know the move" so that every Bellsprout, Scizor, Bisharp or Fomantis can cut little trees without being taught to.

I'd also like Run button like HGSS, Underground and fucking Pokéathlon. I really enjoyed those mini-games and rewards were neat (evolving stones early obtainable)

Nothing fucks you up in Kanto because from gym to gym your levels will be similar to the ones you face. The problem with Kanto levels is that leveling everything that isn't your Johto-born team is impossibly stupid. Your actual team is fine.

THIS. I know they weren't as popular as singles or doubles, but jesus christ, man. It's still better than non-game additions like taking gimmicky motion control pictures with 10 frame stutter, or relegating EV training to a literally mobile game wait time mechanic. FUCK. Rotations offered new strategies. Debuffs were actually scary! and other shit that wouldn't work in either doubles or singles.

This along with the quick select assignment. on 'Y' in Gen V. I was really glad to be able to flip on the Itemfinder and bypass turning it off by just assigning a bag to the quick menu as well.

I just finished replaying Platinum and holy shit this could not be any more wrong. Barry is the most obnoxious rival next to the XY shits. Him and Looker were the worst parts of the game; I just couldn't wait for them to stop talking whenever they teleported on screen.
