>>34716390You can travel to different alternate universes and dimensions with an item called the Ultra Hopper. Each world has it's own unique look and sets of rules and even the Pokemon work and look differently depending on what world you travel to.
For instance, a normal Pikachu is speedy and not very bulky but a Pikachu from the Battle World is slow but very bulky and is blue instead of yellow.
You can also travel to the worlds of the Ultra Beasts but are now fully explorable, open worlds which can be accessed by using your Ultra Hopper with an Ultra Beast of that world as the leading member of your party. There are ten new Ultra Beasts as well, each one having a world you can also explore but no new Pokemon, the main gimmick is that you can train alternate versions of Pokemon that work differently depending on what world they originate from. Training Pokemon in other worlds will also affect them like learning moves they wouldn't normally learn, get different stat boosts etc.
Most of the alternate worlds are the Ultra Beasts worlds except for Battle World, which is the Pokemon Colosseum universe. New worlds includes Fear World, a world populated entirely by Ghost, Bug and Dark type Pokemon and zombie-like humans and Frost World, an unforgiving, frozen wasteland that causes all non-ice type Pokemon to become frozen at random times during battle.
I call it Pokemon Multiverse: Alpha Version and Omega Version. And the third, definitive version, Infinite which has all the versions exclusives, five new Ultra Beasts, more alternate versions of Pokemon and an extended post game. All made for the Nintendo Switch.
