Is this worth playing? I know nothing about it and I wouldn't mind playing a pokemon game at the moment.
I've played the original sun and moon and I loved it.

I didn't care for it (maps are too boring/linear), but USUM was better than SM.

Yeah. You won't see many differences until you near the end of the game, but there's some cool additions. Go with Christ

Some of the totem fights are more difficult, story plays out nearly the same until poni island. The new mons added to the Dex fit the themes well. It's definitely not a necessity but it's a fun game regardless

If you liked Sun and Moon, you'll really like Ultra Sun/Moon. It's an incredibly similar story until the third island, and then it takes a hard left turn. I personally loved Ultra Moon, and I'm still playing it now and having fun with it.

It's the standard third version. Not the significant change Platinum and Emerald were but then again SM wasn't as technically flawed as DP and RS. Overall it's a fun time though, can get surprisingly difficult at points but if you're over the age of 12 you won't struggle that much.
