Replace Kanto pokemon with their Unova counterparts

Dex is 150 Unova pokemon + the 100 new Kalos pokemon

3D models for opponents

Get rid of the Three Stooges.

Introduce an edgy rival after the fourth badge.

Make the Team end two to three badges earlier because they suck.

Fix the lag and increase the pokemon count.

Add in items that cost 16 BP and decrease a level 100 Pokemon's IV in one stat by one.

Do the same thing except increase except an increase instead of decrease at 64 or 128 BP.

Increase a flat 1% hidden ability chance for all other wise non HA Pokemon.

Keep Exp. Share but either only allow it the post game or increase Gen V's level scaling rather than getting rid of it.

Give relevance to the legendaries. Their role on XY could have been starred by any Pokémon, legendary or not. Actually, the only "legendary" on that game was the Eternal Floette, it was the only Pokémon with lore and a legend behind.

Make the story less predictable. You got the villain on the first hour, this is fucking ridiculous in a jRPG.

Relevance for most characters that are literally NPCs with no story but unique design. Even the last battle was a "literally who: the Champion". At least AZ saves the ending.

I don't mention the "difficulty", it is an obvious point.

EXP share comes in later.
Less of a stretch between Gym 1 and 2.
Gym leaders almost all have some thing in their towns you have to do before fighting them, small arcs.
Boil the rivals down to two. Serena/Calem as a "streamlined" trainer who tries their best at battling but often comes up short, then Shauna is the "make the most of the adventure" person who's wants to fill out the entire dex and scolds you for rushing things if you have less than her at various checkpoints
E4 scale slightly based on order fought.
Lysandre and Diantha have a bigger role.

Make the EXP scaling like Gen V/Gen VII's

Give Gym leaders either full teams or better AI

Give Gym Leaders more personality, make them part of the community like with the Trial Captains and Unovan Gym Leaders

There needs to be a sense of agency in the story. The moment Lysandre broadcasts his plans via the Holocaster, NPCs across the region should be talking about it--because no one fucking does in the games.

Either get rid of Tierno,Trevor and Shauna, or flesh them out. Like why does Tierno like dancing so much? What does Shauna want to get out of being a trainer?

Calem/Serena need to be better rivals with better AI and FOUR MOVES PER POKEMON. Like why the fuck do they have Pokemon with 2~3 moves late in the game? Inexcusable.

Those are pretty much how I'd fix X/Y. They woudn't be the perfect games but they'd at least be better

STORY
>1 Zygarde Core appears on Connection Cave, after you see it, it escapes but then follows you on your journey.
>on Glittering Cave you find that the Team Flare was looking for a Zygarde Core that hides there, after you defeat them you discovered that the Zygarde Core that you found on Connection Cave was actually the Zygarde Core of Glittering Cave, then it calls 9 Zygarde Cells and transforms into Zygarde 10%, that then enters to one of your Poké Balls akin to Latios/Latias in ORAS, but the Pokédex can't identify it.
>after you defeat Olympia, Lysandre says through the Holo Caster that he wants to kills everybody with the Ultimate Weapon (like XY) but with the power of the 4 Zygarde Cores that Team Flare caught. After you reach to Lysandre Labs you find out that the Team Flare Grunts and Admins were gaining time so that Lysandre could reach to Terminus Cave, where most of the Zygarde Cells rest, then he uses a machine that allows him to control the Zygarde Cores at his will, making the 4 Zygarde Cores to call all the Zygarde Cells, including your Zygarde 10%, and then all transforms into Zygarde 50% with Power Construct. Like on Pokémon B2W2, you can't catch it and you must defeat it instead.
>after you defeat Zygarde, Lysandre challenges you for a last battle. After you defeat Lysandre he reveals that he was also using the power of both Xerneas and Yveltal, both of which where in a secret room, he shoots a beam but Zygarde Complete absorbs it and redirects the beam to Terminus Cave, destroying it. The beam makes him to learn a new move (Core Enforcer).
>Zygarde then separates and all the Zygarde Cores and Cells goes to their respective caves (you can return to a new room in Terminus Cave after you have all Zygarde Cores and Cells)

- Lots of sidequests to make you backtrack to previous towns in which you are prized with TMs, rare Pokemon or Mega Stones. Use this same backtracking starting from Gym 3 and on for the path to not look too short.
- Include a Rank system (S through F) in the Hall of Fame which prizes you for not using legendaries, not using easy-choice Pokemon, using Pokemon centers a limited amount of times, using non-damaging moves, etc.
- Be less afraid of full-6 teams. Ultimately all Gym Leaders, Elite Four, Champion, Serena/Calem, Trevor, Shauna and Tierno have one, with a Mega-Evolutionable Pokemon. Serena/Calem should have in their last battle 2 fixed Pokemon and the rest of their team is chosen specifically to counter yours.
- Fix camera angles in place like that Stonehenge-like place and Lumiose.
- Beating Elite Four makes you able to travel to Unova
