I'd be absolutely fine with the art style if they just kept body proportions right and consistent, big head, skinny arms, massive body, twig legs, it just looks horrible.
Also Ash, he'd be fine if they didn't make his hair so curved, he's always had spiky, sharp edged hair, curving it made him look too different.
Same goes with James.

each scene in this video has a character that's off model. Pikachu has his face too scrunched up. Ash's face.
also little to no animation in this 30 second clip. just lazy mouth movements.

That was barely tolerable the backgrounds were so bland and the CG was horrid.

I much prefer this fluid animation, even if it's shitty at least it's not as stiff.

This. We don't need another Narutard clone. Pokemon are at their best when they act like pets in a comfy series. Sure some battles in XYZ were really well made (at least for pokemon, which always had shit choreography) but there's not much else that's valuable or fun in there

You can tell Ben10 was big back in DPBW era. Gosh. Indigo league has typical 90's anime flaws slowly improved upon. Johto+AG is alright with me. DP starts looking retarded. XY has cool animation, but the artstyle tries a mature Ash and doesn't deliver.

Marshadow movie was godlike. It's basically oldschool Indigo/Johto but without the flaws from looking so dated plus XY animation. And I just really love the next movie's Ash. Reminds me of Ghibli.
