What cross-gen baby pokemon/pre-evolutions have a reason to exist, and what are just absolutely pointless wastes of space? I'm genuinely curious, and I can't find any articles that would comprehensively cover the subject.
For example, Munchlax is a really potent pre-evolution that learns a lot of moves unavailable to Snorlax (which seems to be the best thing babies are ever useful for), while Bonsly seems to only add one sole status move to Sudowoodo's repertoire.
