I thought it'd be more like they'd remake both and package them together as one game where you play bw 1 first, it ends when N leaves with Zekrom/Reshiram, and then bw2 starts.
Or, it could be much more simpler where it asks if you want to play 1 or 2 at the title screen

I prefer that as well overall, but i like how Generations handled it (BW MC showing up at B2W2 climax to help N from Ghetsis/Kyurem). It just makes sense, and that makes me think they'll go with remaking both into a single game.

I don't expect graphene based ARM processors by then, but here's fucking hoping Samsung pushes for that shit so we'd have shit that's at least 1060Ti grade in whatever the fuck new Tegra tech NVidia can push for in an ARM SoC of that magnitude.

Giving Nintendo a portable XBox One X in terms of graphical power but in handheld mode would really make some dicks hard.

Well there were never true sequels within a generation before B2W2. I wouldn't be surprised if they broke convention for a future Unova remake. Sure, they might just remake BW and call it a day, but I could see them doing B3W3 or making a new game that somehow combines the content from BW/B2W2 into a single alternate universe game.

Second, I dunno bout it.
They had good reasons to remake the first three gens since you can't transfer up from the first two games and is difficult to move up from the third, but from 4 and on they've been on systems with internet connectivity and pokebank and even though it's a hassle I believe you can still directly transfer up as long as you have a game from each gen and a few ds's, which you likely have just that one of them is called a 3ds.

I did enjoy b/w even though I played it after it became irrelevant, so I wouldn't mind.

It's starting to get harder to get your hands on the gen 4 and 5 games, which are selling for more online. Plus, while Pokebank is a thing, for many, the Switch will be their first console, and have never played gen 4/5, or even owned a 3ds.
