That would be more important to me than the constant attempt to resurrect the Chinese Zodiac idea, because it only answers one of the three lines, which doesn't make sense.
A viable pattern should explain all three lines, explaining why they are being chosen, and give a perfect idea of what might be the next picks for the future three.
