I don't think I'll ever like the Vanillish line. Not because "hurr Ice creams" but because they have no redeeming features. Shit type, shit stats, shit movepool, evolution is just it getting bigger and the concept could have been executed way more interesting than this. I guess it's fitting though, vanilla is pretty bland.

His designs are good enough, but I don't quite like them. All of his designs have some deep flaw I can't seem to put my finger on. Buzzwole is easily my favorite from him, thouhg.
In spite of this, I'm still eager to see more from him.

3-4 is the perfect amount. He's not wholly consistent so I'd hate for the Turner design for a whole gen was mediocre. I wish we could tie every Pokemon to its designer but Turner's the only one who will tell people everything he did. I guess it's a cultural difference.

I like the Vanillite family, but there's actually one problem I have with it:

They aren't MORE literally my mom's ice cream. Like, give Vanilluxe hot fudge and sprinkles and a cherry on top an even a spoon embedded in it! If you're gonna have an ice cream Pokemon, go the whole hog!
