Why does hitmontop look nothing like chan and lee at all? it could be an entirely different pokemon and no one would ever question it.

Regardless, it's not "that" bad. At least in VGC it wasn't, I guess.

I found Hitmontop to be the best of the 3. Full attack + sp def, you steal egg moves from lee, high jump kick, stone edge, bulk up, mach punch (egg from chan). My Hitmontop rex fool Battle Maison bots

Nothing. Its design is fine, and its perfectly useful. Just because it ain’t “unhealthy meta cloud lion” good doesn’t mean its bad.

The only flaw, as others have mentioned is that it’s 3ds model stands upright, when it should be balancing on its head like it did in the colosseum model.
