As ghost type fan I like the fact that it embodies the idea of spiritual flame (will-o-wisp) / black flame, and the fact that it's flame supposedly absorb life and guide spirits to the afterlife. Also it's design isn't needlessly complex and easy to be memorable as well. (Oh and it's neat to use chandelure line as a creepy source of light in ghost pokemon fanarts,very useful.)
>>34743642Well Gastly line has always been one of the fan favourites. Back at that time when there were little ghost type pokemon, The line stood out as incredibly unique. Not only strong and versatlie, Gengar's looks, his face, kinda give this wicked, mischievous, trickery feel that some people love. Also the fact that it's hard to get (Trading only) and hence, kinda rare and unique to see in-game.
